Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience at this very busy and stressful time of year.  I will keep up as much as possible, but know that after the madness of competition and the show, I will make sure that everything is up to date.  I am going to include some of my school assignments that have been keeping me quite busy these days.  The first one is an example of light painting. This was a technique that I learned in my Advanced Studio Technique class. This was soooo fun.  I opened my shutter, turned of the lights, and used a flashlight to add light to the image.  There were a lot  of misses, but this was a hit.

Hi,

     Today's pic is of a little turtle.  This turtle was just chillin on a rock.  I was out in a boat with a great friend and my niece when we came upon this turtle just minding it's own business.  I decided to make it a star by taking it's picture and here we are.  I think this turtle has great things ahead of it.  He posed for a few pictures and then he was done.  We placed him safely back where we found him and not taking any chances, he promptly swam to the bottom of the river.  lol

     Today in my preschool class, we started talking about butterflies.  We pretended we were butterflies and we flew to the park which always turns into Disneyland.  lol I thought it would be fitting to submit one of my butterfly pics in honor of my very creative preschool students.  Oh...and also an ode to the warmer weather.. :)

Hello,

Today is my final installment of my photogenic cuties.  This is Kiki.  She is nine but will be ten very soon.  She actually turns ten on the day of our dance recital.  I am so happy that she is willing to share that special day with us.  Kiki is a joy to work with and I must say that the fashion industry had better watch out for her.  She has a style that is distinctly her own and I like it.

Hi,

Here is installment number three in our photogenic kids.  This is Leonyae.  She is nine and has captured my heart since she was born.  This is a special little girl, with a special little spirit.  She has this uncanny gift of sensing when I am down, and then being determined to pick me back up.  What a joy to work with.  I see wonderful things for this young lady in the future.  And... she is cute too!!!!
