Hi,
These pretty flowers are in my neighbors yard. I have been eyeing them for some time watching to see what they would turn into. To my surprise these purple beauties popped up. I imagine myself very tiny and living in this purple forest. Uh oh, I think I just typed that out loud again. lol

Hi,
What a week or should say few months it has been. As I prepare for our annual show and go through all of the stress and hard work related to it, I have to stop and take a breath and really take comfort in the small things. I look for things that will give me peace, or make me smile. I know this time of the year is hectic, I also know the only way to make it through is to surround myself with good people, and to appreciate the beauty God has placed all around me.

Hi,
Ok, so I am up pretty early these days and I usually just get right to work. The past few days, I took the opportunity to just go outside and see what's up. I love finding beauty in things that may not necessarily be thought of in that way. This was one of the road block doohiggys that keep people out of places, or maybe keeps things inside of places, I guess it is just a case of perspective. Anyway...I thought it looked nice so I took the picture.

Hi,
This is what I saw this morning. The green belt is really pretty in the morning before anyone is up and about. I saw a creature out of the corner of my eye but didn't get a good look at it. I think it may have been a skunk. I guess I will just have to keep going back until I uncover the mystery. :)

I noticed these leaves this morning as I was pulling into my yard. There were a few water droplets shining on the leaves and I immediately knew that I had to shoot it. The morning light was beautiful..

Hi,
Have you ever passed an item over and over and never noticed it. Well, I have been passing this shovel for more than a year now and I never noticed until this morning. Maybe it was the way the light was hitting it, I am not sure. I just knew that I wanted to get a picture. Here is to noticing the little things in life.

Hi,
Do you know that story about watching a pot boil? Well... I confess....I like to watch pots boil. That moment when the bubbles form on the bottom and then all of a sudden....pop, pop, pop. Bubbles popping all over the place, steam rising. Ok....I am starting to worry about myself lol. Well...I decided to take a picture of my boiling pot right before I made my delicious brown rice.

This pretty little flower stood out among thousands. It was growing free of its base reaching for the road. That was dramatic right? lol Anyway, I saw it and took its picture. I think it's a pansy. Let me know if I'm right.

Hi,
I thought I would keep the flower theme going a little longer. (minus the picture from yesterday) lol As I was driving I saw a sea of flowers. I turned off, and found that it was a flower shop that happened to be closed. There were "No Trespassing" signs everywhere. I am proud to say that I got these pictures without
trespassing :)

Hi,
Today's pic is a texture image. It is hard to tell but it is actually an old truck that was parked where I like to go visit my duck friends. I had just finished taking some pictures of the ducks and was walking back to the studio when this truck caught my eye. I thought the peeling paint was amazing. From my perspective, I saw the pattern and the textures right away.
