Hey,

This was an image that I took but that did not make the cut list  for my assignment.  I chose this image today because I really like the colors and the composition.  While I was preparing to upload this image, I noticed for the first time the patterns are different in each glass even though they were purchased as a set.  Very cool!!!!!

Hi,

This was an assignment for lighting reflective materials.  For me, lighting is the most difficult aspect of photography.  I am determined to conquer it, but it has been a challenge.  For this image I just have to work on separating the items from the background a little more.

Hi,

Ok, this was not taken for a class, but I saw the patterns and reflections in the water and was intrigued.  This was taken at "Italian Lake" in Harrisburg, Pa.  Not exactly sure why I like this image but I do.  Hope you do too.

Hi,

This was the first assignment in my Advance Studio Technique class.  Creating an outside location...inside.  I re-created a spa scene.  On a side note, today is my mom's birthday.  If I could and if I knew she would take advantage of it, (which of course I know she would not), I would love to give her a day at the spa.  So, since she most likely will not go to a spa, this picture is for her.  Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Hi,

This was one of my favorite in this class.  Not just because it is sushi, one of my most favorite foods in the world, but because well.....ok, it's because sushi is one of my most favorite foods in the world. lol  Anyway, this was my first stab at food styling and food photography.  Not sure if it is something that I could get into on a regular basis, but this assignment was fun.

Hi,

Here is another from Advanced Studio Technique.  We had to replicate a location in the studio.  This one made me a little crazy.  Just about everything you see, I had to purchase for this particular assignment.  I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I wanted to create or how to make it look realistic.  Once I decided to portray a desk, everything fell into place.  I was just grateful that it worked.

Hey,

Today's image was also taken in my Advanced Studio Technique class.  We had to demonstrate a cliche photographically.  I chose "Thinking outside of the box".  The light bulbs represent ideas as they are jumping out of the box.  I cannot tell you how many times I had to stand and throw the light bulbs hoping to get them in the frame and praying that they did not break.  This was another fun assignment.
